Sunkoo Yuh - How to make a porcelain sculpture
The Ceramic School
Hello, I'm Sunkoo Yuh, currently living in Athens, Georgia, in the United States. I've been immersed in the world of ceramics for more than three decades, and I'm excited to share a peek into my craft with you.
My expertise lies in crafting porcelain sculptures, a process I would like to walk you through:
It all begins with my ink drawings. These two-dimensional sketches serve as the starting point for my sculptures, which I then turn into captivating three-dimensional pieces.
What adds an exciting twist to this whole process, is the element of unpredictability. Even I don't always know how the final sculpture will turn out until I add the finishing touches.
So, I'd love for you to come along on this artistic journey with me, as we explore the fascinating world of porcelain sculpture.
